Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has urged citizens to exercise maximum caution following floods across the country.

Osmani praised institutions and citizens for their swift and professional response, noting that she has been in regular communication with the mayors of affected municipalities to coordinate actions on the ground.

She emphasized that the Emergency Management Agency is working continuously in cooperation with law enforcement, while the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) is fully prepared to provide support if needed.

The situation requires maximum vigilance. I call on citizens to follow instructions from competent authorities closely. Close cooperation and professional response remain essential to managing this situation successfully,” Osmani wrote on Facebook.
