The U.S. Secretary of State stated that the talks that began today in Florida with the Ukrainian delegation aim to “pave the way” for a fully sovereign Ukraine.
“This is not just about ending the war. It is about opening a path that will enable Ukraine to remain sovereign, independent, and prosperous,” the American Secretary of State said at the start of the meeting.
Meanwhile, the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Rustem Umerov, stated that he wants to discuss with the Americans Ukraine’s security and the country’s reconstruction. In a message on the X platform, Umerov emphasized that the mission of his delegation is “to guarantee Ukraine’s interests.”
