The leader of the Albanians in North Macedonia and head of the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI), Ali Ahmeti, was seen this Thursday entering the headquarters of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) in Prishtina, following his participation in the protest organized by associations of Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) war veterans.
During this visit, Ahmeti was welcomed by PDK Chairman Memli Krasniqi, with whom he held a cordial meeting.
It has been reported that the meeting focused on the progress of today’s protest—attended by tens of thousands of citizens—as well as current political developments in Kosovo and the wider region.
Ali Ahmeti was among the political figures who delivered remarks during the protest, expressing his support for the leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army who are being tried in The Hague.
