The Special Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kosovo has detained a person with the initials S.R. for 48 hours.
Police investigators from the Directorate for the Investigation of Serious Crimes, acting on orders from the Special Prosecutor’s Office, arrested S.R. in Zvecan.
S.R. is suspected of the following criminal offenses: association for unconstitutional activities, endangering persons under international protection, participation in a crowd committing a criminal offense, hooliganism, and assault on an official person.
A search of the suspect’s residence was also conducted, during which material evidence was collected to be used in the criminal proceedings.
Within the legally prescribed timeframe, a request will be submitted to the Basic Court in Prishtinë to set a pre-trial detention measure against S.R.
Police investigators, in cooperation with the Special Prosecutor’s Office, are carrying out all necessary investigative actions in accordance with applicable laws.
