Exclusive footage has been released for the first time showing the intervention of the Rapid Reaction Unit during the terrorist attack in Banjska, where this unit was the first to respond to the armed Serbian group.
The footage shows the initial moments of the arrival of the special unit’s armored vehicle in the area, confronting a group of over 100 Serbian terrorists positioned in the village of Banjska.
The response from the Directorate of Rapid Reaction Units did not stop at the initial deployment.
On the contrary, the unit continued the armed exchange with the group in a highly organized and professional manner, engaging for about five uninterrupted hours – from the early hours of the morning until daylight.
The footage reveals close encounters with the terrorists, with the combat taking place from just a few meters away, highlighting the commitment and determination of the Rapid Reaction Unit members to ensure the safety and protection of the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
