KFOR mission commander, Major General Enrico Barduani, took part in the third edition of the International Forum on Women, Peace and Security held today in Prishtina, at the invitation of the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, Rks News reports.
The forum, titled “The Security Code for Our Generation,” focused on the disproportionate impact of conflicts on women and children, highlighting the heightened risks they face in areas affected by violence and insecurity.
General Barduani’s presence underscored KFOR’s commitment to protecting vulnerable populations and ensuring a stable environment in Kosovo. KFOR continues to carry out its mission in line with UN Security Council Resolution 1244, working closely with the Kosovo Police and the EU Rule of Law Mission (EULEX) to ensure security and freedom of movement for all citizens.
