Nottingham Forest has signed a new contract with manager Nuno Espirito Santo, who will lead the club for the next three seasons.

The Portuguese coach has continued his impressive run after a stellar season, guiding the team to 7th place in the Premier League and qualifying them for European competition for the first time since the 1995–96 season.

“I’m very happy to continue this journey with such a fantastic club,” Nuno said after signing his new deal.

Nuno took over in December 2023, replacing Steve Cooper, and managed to keep Forest in the Premier League after a hard-fought survival battle that lasted until the final day of the 2023–24 season.

In addition, Nuno led Nottingham Forest to the FA Cup semifinals, a milestone the club hadn’t reached since 1991, though they were eventually beaten 2-0 by Manchester City.
