Haki Limani, a former fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), known as Commander “Plaki,” has passed away.
His fellow fighter, Rrustem Berisha, confirmed the news, expressing sorrow over the loss of one of the most honored commanders of the KLA.
“With deep sadness, we inform you that our comrade from Ferizaj, Haki Limani – Commander ‘Plaki,’ has passed away. I met Commander Plaki during the glorious days of our liberation struggle when he, along with his son Arben, joined the 138th Brigade ‘Agim Ramadani’ of the KLA. Haki Limani – Commander Plaki, during the epic of Koshares, never removed the white cap from his head, symbolizing his love for the homeland and his unwavering commitment to the fight for freedom,” Berisha stated.
The funeral of the deceased will take place tomorrow at the Veterans’ Cemetery in the Memorial Complex in Kosare.
