Former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) fighter Jahir Krasniqi has passed away, the Organization of KLA War Veterans (OVL-UÇK) in Prizren confirmed on Tuesday.
Isa Berisha, head of OVL-UÇK in Prizren, announced the news in a statement shared on Facebook:
“With deep sorrow, we inform you that one of the fighters of freedom, Jahir Krasniqi, has passed away.”
The funeral ceremony will take place today, August 26, 2025, following the iqindi prayer at the city cemetery in Prizren.
On behalf of the OVL-UÇK, Berisha expressed his sincere condolences to Krasniqi’s family, friends, and fellow comrades.
