Former Kosovo Security Force (KSF) general Kadri Kastrati has stated that the Kosovo–Albania–Croatia alliance is focused on strengthening regional security rather than causing destabilization.
In an interview on the program “Info Magazine” on Klan Kosova, Kastrati highlighted what he described as Serbia’s destabilizing policies in the region.
He pointed to what he called territorial ambitions and alleged support for destabilizing actions in northern Kosovo, claiming that weapons and Serbian-made military equipment continue to be discovered there. According to Kastrati, these developments demonstrate that Serbia remains a destabilizing factor in the region.
Regarding the trilateral cooperation between Kosovo, Albania, and Croatia, he emphasized that the alliance has no intention of threatening any state.
“The Kosovo–Albania–Croatia alliance does not aim for destabilization, nor does it seek to endanger any country. Its purpose is to project security for other states in the region,” Kastrati said.
He also expressed optimism that by 2027, Kosovo could become a member of NATO, joining what he described as the world’s largest political-military alliance.
