Malishevë, Kosovo – Former MP and Deputy Minister Enver Hoti has officially joined the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), marking a significant political shift ahead of the upcoming local elections.
The announcement was made today by AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj, who warmly welcomed Hoti into the party ranks and confirmed his candidacy for Mayor of Malishevë.
“Enver Hoti best represents the spirit of the Alliance – determination, transparency, and a deep commitment to serving citizens with integrity,” Haradinaj stated. “His joining is a valuable addition to our political project.”
Hoti, formerly affiliated with Nisma Socialdemokrate, has held various roles in public administration and is known in the region for his political engagement and experience. His candidacy is seen as a strategic move by AAK to strengthen its presence in Malishevë, a municipality with a competitive political landscape.
AAK officials believe Hoti’s local influence and administrative background position him as a strong contender to lead the municipality. His campaign is expected to focus on governance reforms, development projects, and improving public services.
With local elections on the horizon, Hoti’s move could significantly impact the political dynamics in Malishevë and beyond.
