Former MP of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Nezir Çoçaj, has officially joined the Nisma Socialdemokrate.

In a public statement, Çoçaj expressed deep disappointment with the current municipal governance in Prizren, citing widespread dissatisfaction, injustice, and lack of integrity and commitment to citizens’ well-being.

“Every day, I hear your frustrations and witness many injustices and a lack of work aimed at improving citizens’ lives. That is why I have made a clear decision: From today, I will continue my political engagement with Nisma Socialdemokrate,” he stated, also announcing his intention to run as a candidate on the party’s electoral list.

Full Statement Highlights:
“The support and trust you gave me in the past elections have been my strength to never stop. Unfortunately, what is happening in our city’s governance today is disappointing.”

“Prizren doesn’t need empty words—it needs work and people with clean hands. I’m ready. Once again, with you.”
