Dragan Šormaz, a former member of the Serbian Parliament from the SNS party, has sharply criticized Kosovo Serbs for participating in protests in Serbia in support of President Aleksandar Vučić, accusing them of doing so for a financial reward. In a post on social media platform X, Šormaz called out Kosovo Serbs, stating, “Apart from some students, many scum, criminals, and the broken Red Berets have come to the ‘Pioneer Park,’ including those hired from Kosovo! For a few ‘red’ (money) of the day, you continue to serve the criminals who have used you over the years to fill their pockets and those with green money! Miserable.”
Šormaz’s remarks highlight ongoing tensions within the Serbian community in Kosovo, as some are seen aligning themselves with Serbia’s political agenda while others face accusations of financial motivation.
