Yuri Kim, former U.S. Ambassador to Albania, officially concluded a distinguished 29-year career in the U.S. Foreign Service, marking the end of an influential tenure in American diplomacy.
Kim announced her retirement via social media, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve her country and reflecting on the emotions accompanying this milestone.
“With gratitude for the opportunity to serve my country as a diplomat, I will officially retire from the Department of State next week. I am proud to have served for 29 years under five Presidents and ten Secretaries of State. I close this chapter with a heart full of hope for the next generation of public servants.
