Former U.S. Congressman Tony Hall, who was in The Hague, was unable to meet in person with the detained KLA leaders, but expressed warm and heartfelt sentiments for them in a letter, reports Rks News.

In the letter dated May 19, 2025, Hall refers to Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi as “brothers,” saying he was there “to stand under the same sky and breathe the same air” with them.

He thanks the families for their hospitality in Kosovo and calls on the leaders to remain strong and courageous, encouraging them that they “still have much to do” and possess the “spiritual means” to achieve it. Hall emphasizes the importance of faith and prayer, inviting them to call their compatriots to a national day of prayer for Kosovo.

In his letter, the former congressman also expresses his ongoing commitment to them and to Kosovo, reminding them that “you are not forgotten” and that prayers and support from friends around the world continue.
