The Chargé d’Affaires of the United States to Kosovo, Anu Prattipati, hosted former U.S. soccer star Marcelo Balboa at the embassy for a meeting and greetings with embassy staff, members of the Kosovo U.S. Soccer Association (KUSA), and the embassy’s soccer team.
Balboa, a legend of U.S. soccer, earned 128 caps for the United States and participated in three FIFA World Cups, cementing his status as one of the most influential figures in American soccer history.
The embassy invited the public to join in welcoming Balboa to Kosovo, celebrating his contributions to the sport and his visit to the country.
