Police have arrested four individuals in Podujeva on suspicion of cultivating cannabis, authorities confirmed.
According to the report, two of the suspects are Kosovo citizens and landowners, on whose property the cannabis was discovered. Police found around one hectare of land planted with maize and cannabis plants of varying heights.
The other two suspects are Albanian citizens, who are believed to have been working on the land.
Following their interrogation, the prosecutor on duty issued a detention order. All four suspects remain in custody on charges related to illegal cultivation of narcotic plants.
