The Preliminary Procedure Judge at the Skopje Basic Criminal Court has ordered 48-hour pretrial detention for four suspects connected to the Trubarevo fire incident.
The suspects are accused of the criminal offense of “endangering the environment with waste”.
According to the court, the individuals under detention are: V.M., Z.S., M.D., and L.D..
Authorities are currently awaiting results from environmental pollution measurements conducted by the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning to determine the full impact of the fire.
