Pristina International Airport “Adem Jashari” has recorded four million passengers for arrivals and departures this year.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that 2024 saw a doubling of the number of passengers and new travel destinations. He highlighted investments in improving the runway, which have contributed to the increase in flights.
The spokesperson for Pristina International Airport, Valentina Gara, confirmed that four million passengers have traveled from January to the present.
The four-millionth passenger was a couple from the diaspora, Fatime and Xhevdet Gaxherri from Junik, who received several gifts from the airport. They expressed their happiness for being part of this milestone at the Pristina airport.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that in just four days, it will mark one year since the citizens of Kosovo started traveling visa-free within the Schengen Area, with flights from “Adem Jashari” Airport becoming more convenient and faster.
