Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani gave an interview on September 23, 2025, to the conservative U.S. network Fox News, known for its alignment with former U.S. President Donald Trump.
During the broadcast, Fox News aired various video clips — including footage from the physical altercation in the Kosovo Assembly between members of Vetëvendosje and the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK).
The images, which showed scenes of chaos inside Kosovo’s Parliament, were far from flattering for the country’s international image. Despite this, Prindon Sadriu, Osmani’s husband, described her appearance on the show as a “historic moment.”
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Sadriu wrote that Osmani was “the first leader outside of American politicians to appear on Fox & Friends,” one of Fox News’s most-watched morning programs.
“Historic moment! The President of Kosovo becomes the only world leader — besides U.S. leaders — to appear on the elite Fox & Friends show on Fox News. On America’s most influential conservative morning show, Kosovo’s voice was heard loud and clear — with dignity, vision, and strength,” Sadriu stated.
