At the UN Security Council, France strongly condemned the fact that two years after the terrorist attack in Banjska, the perpetrators are still free, calling it “unacceptable.”

“It is unacceptable that, two years after the attack, those responsible remain at large,” the French representative stated.

France also criticized the Government of Kosovo, saying that some of its actions have had negative consequences for the Serbian community.

The French delegate reiterated the call for the establishment of the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities, framing it as a key step toward the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

“There is no alternative to normalization, which is essential for the European integration of both Kosovo and Serbia. The commitments made in the Brussels and Ohrid Agreements must be respected,” the representative added.

“The actions of the Government of Kosovo have had negative effects on the Serbian community, and their status must be addressed through the creation of the Association of Serb-majority municipalities,” the French diplomat concluded.
