Citizens from across the country, as well as members of the diaspora, have gathered in Skanderbeg Square in Pristina to join the civic march under the motto “Justice, not politics.”

Participants are holding flags of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK), the Republic of Kosovo, and Albanian national flags. The march is officially expected to begin at 14:00.

Those attending are calling for justice for former UÇK leaders being tried in The Hague: Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi.

A large banner reading “Justice, not politics” has been placed in the square, accompanied by photos of the four accused, who have been facing trial for more than five years at the Specialist Chambers in The Hague.
