An exceptional development from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE): Knut Abraham has been elected Vice President of the Assembly and appointed head of the German delegation in this important European institution.
The news was shared on Facebook by Kosovo’s Ambassador to Germany, Faruk Ajeti.
“Warm congratulations, Knut, on your election as Vice President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), and on your appointment as head of the German delegation in PACE — the largest delegation in this vital institution,” wrote Ambassador Ajeti.
Mr. Abraham’s appointment is seen as a recognition of his continued commitment and professionalism in representing the democratic interests of member states.
He is also well known as a true friend and supporter of the Republic of Kosovo on the international stage.
This development further strengthens the democratic voice within PACE and represents a positive step for European parliamentary cooperation.
