FSK Commander Awards Medals to Personnel Involved in Search and Rescue Operation in Albania

The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, held a meeting with members of the Search and Rescue Unit of the Civil Protection Regiment of the FSK’s National Guard, who were engaged in a humanitarian search and rescue operation in the Republic of Albania.

At the outset, General Jashari thanked the personnel for their involvement in the humanitarian operation in Klos, Albania. On this occasion, Lt. Gen. Jashari congratulated the team for their work, professionalism, and dedication in successfully completing the operation under harsh winter conditions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Lt. Gen. Jashari awarded the personnel involved in the operation with the “Selfless Service” medal and presented a certificate of appreciation to the unit.

“The Kosovo Security Force remains committed to strengthening regional cooperation, demonstrating the development of capacities and professionalism both within and outside the territory of the Republic of Kosovo,” the FSK statement read.
