The German Foreign Minister stated that the United States has reached a common understanding with other G7 countries regarding Iran.

“We are already feeling the economic consequences [of the war] everywhere, especially in Europe, in a very tangible way,” Johann Wadephul told reporters during the G7 meeting near Paris.

“That is why we discussed these issues in great detail, and there is absolutely no disagreement,” he added.

Wadephul emphasized that, until the conflict in the region ends, the United States has made no requests to Germany for military contributions.
