German Ambassador: KFOR Is a Pillar of Security in the Western Balkans

The German Ambassador to Kosovo, Rainer Rudolph, visited the headquarters of KFOR, where he was received by the mission’s commander, Major General Özkan Ulutaş.

During the meeting, Ambassador Rudolph reaffirmed Germany’s strong support for KFOR, describing the NATO-led mission as a key pillar of security, stability, and cooperation in the Western Balkans.

“KFOR remains a cornerstone of peace, stability, and cooperation in the region,” Ambassador Rudolph stated, expressing his deep appreciation for the outstanding work and dedication of KFOR personnel in promoting peace and stability in Kosovo.

According to a post from the German Embassy in Pristina, Rudolph thanked the troops for their continued service and commitment to maintaining a secure and peaceful environment in the country.

During his visit, the Ambassador also met with Colonel Müller, commander of the German contingent within KFOR, who briefed him on the ongoing contributions and operational activities of German soldiers serving in the mission.

The meeting underscored Germany’s long-term commitment to Kosovo’s stability and its strategic partnership within NATO in ensuring peace throughout the region.
