President Vjosa Osmani held a farewell meeting today with German Ambassador Jörn Rohde, who is concluding his diplomatic mandate in Kosovo.
During the meeting, Osmani thanked Ambassador Rohde for his long-standing commitment to Kosovo and highlighted that Germany remains a key strategic partner of the Republic of Kosovo, with bilateral relations continuing to strengthen.
“We emphasized the importance of deepening economic relations, which have also been reinforced by the valuable contributions of the Kosovar diaspora in Germany, whose investments and engagement serve as a strong bridge connecting our two countries and peoples,” the statement read.
Osmani also expressed appreciation for Germany’s support over the years, particularly in assisting Kosovo on its path toward Euro-Atlantic integration, and recognized Germany’s ongoing involvement in various development projects across multiple sectors.
The President wished Ambassador Rohde continued success in his future endeavors.
