The German Embassy in Kosovo hosted a special reception on Wednesday evening to welcome the newly appointed Executive Director of the German-Kosovar Business Association (OEGJK), Besnik Vasolli.

The event gathered key political and economic figures, including Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who was seen interacting with attendees and extending his congratulations to Vasolli.

In a press release, the Office of the Prime Minister shared several photos from the gathering, highlighting Kurti’s participation alongside Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) leader Memli Krasniqi and LDK deputy leader and mayor of Peja, Gazmend Muhaxheri.

“Germany has been, and continues to be, one of our most important partners, allies, and friends,” said Kurti during his remarks. “We highly value how our cooperation has grown – from peacebuilding and democratic development to today’s joint shaping of economic progress.”

The event underscored the strong and evolving partnership between Kosovo and Germany, particularly in the realm of economic development, trade, and investment.

This reception comes at a time of increasing German engagement in Kosovo’s economic landscape, with expectations for deeper collaboration under Vasolli’s leadership at the helm of OEGJK.
