The German Embassy in Kosovo has expressed support for the protest organized today by Civil Society in front of the Assembly of Kosovo, regarding the failure to constitute this institution.
The Embassy stated that functional institutions are the cornerstone of democracy, and that Kosovo needs a functioning Assembly and a government that delivers results.
In a social media post on Facebook, the German Ambassador to Kosovo, Jörn Rohde, is quoted as saying:
“Country first, party politics second.”
