German soldiers from the Regional Command-East (RC-E) of the KFOR mission have continued regular patrols in several northern municipalities of Kosovo, maintaining visibility and contributing to local stability.
According to KFOR, these patrols aim to enhance situational awareness and support a secure environment across the region, demonstrating the mission’s ongoing commitment to peace and safety for all communities.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate – based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 – to provide a safe environment and freedom of movement for all people living in Kosovo, at all times and impartially,” the statement said.
These activities underscore Germany’s contribution to the NATO-led peacekeeping mission and reflect the mission’s enduring role in supporting regional stability and security.
