Kosovo’s Ambassador to Germany, Faruk Ajeti, shared on Facebook that he presented a heartfelt gift to German Minister Cem Özdemir in recognition of his continued support for Kosovo.
Özdemir received a jar of ajvar produced by the “Gratë e Krushës” cooperative, a token of appreciation for his ongoing participation in Kosovo’s Independence Day celebrations in Berlin for three consecutive years.
Ajeti highlighted the symbolic importance of the gift, which represents the sacrifice, resistance, and hope of the people of Kosovo. The ajvar, a beloved traditional food, is a symbol of the resilience of Kosovo’s mothers and the sacrifices made for Kosovo’s freedom. Ajeti praised the minister’s support and reaffirmed the significance of Kosovo’s friendship with Germany.
