The Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection, Frank Schwabe, is on an official visit to Kosovo.

The German Embassy in Kosovo stated that the visit comes at a particularly historic moment.

“His visit coincides with the constitution of the new parliament and the formation of the government – events he was able to witness firsthand by attending both Assembly sessions. He was also among the first to congratulate Prime Minister Albin Kurti on the formation of the new government,” the embassy’s statement said.

During his stay, Schwabe met with the newly appointed Minister of Justice, Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, as well as Glauk Konjufca, just hours before his appointment as First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

According to the statement, the meetings focused on assessing the state of bilateral relations and identifying new areas for cooperation.
