After a long wait caused by unfavorable weather conditions, the Gërmia Swimming Pool will officially open its doors on July 8, 2025, according to a Facebook announcement by the public company “Sport Marketing” SH.A.
This year’s pool season was delayed by several weeks due to severe water shortages in Gërmia’s natural springs caused by prolonged drought.
“Due to the significant water shortage in the Gërmia springs, caused by extreme drought, the opening of Gërmia Pool was delayed. Based on current water levels and time planning, we inform you that the pool will open to the public on July 8, 2025. Thank you for your understanding,” the announcement stated.
The public company thanked citizens for their patience and added that final preparations are underway to ensure a safe and relaxing environment for all visitors.
