Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Donika Gërvalla, during her visit to Switzerland, held a meeting with Albanian jurists and lawyers working there, describing them as strong supporters on Kosovo’s path toward a strong rule-of-law state.
On this occasion, Minister Gërvalla highly praised their professionalism and integrity, emphasizing that their experience with the challenges and successes of the Swiss legal system represents an irreplaceable asset for Kosovo’s institutions.
“Their professional network creates extraordinary opportunities for coordination, knowledge exchange, and joint projects with the Kosovo Bar Association and justice institutions in Kosovo, serving as a supportive instrument for strengthening legal structures and advancing justice,” she stated.
According to Minister Gërvalla, meetings like this highlight that Kosovo’s diaspora is an exceptional reservoir of knowledge with the potential to help build a strong and efficient justice system.
“Their willingness to contribute to the development of justice in Kosovo is an extraordinary opportunity that should be integrated into our institutional strategies, in order to consolidate a rule-of-law state that respects the highest standards and a justice system that truly responds to all citizens,” Minister Gërvalla concluded.
