Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo, Donika Gërvalla, met with Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), to discuss enhancing bilateral ties between the Republic of Kosovo and GCC member states — a grouping with growing strategic significance.
During the meeting, Gërvalla emphasized the importance of establishing regular communication and long-term cooperation with the GCC as part of Kosovo’s broader diplomatic effort to expand its global presence and engagement.
She presented several concrete opportunities for collaboration across various sectors and highlighted Kosovo’s interest in forging stronger partnerships with Gulf countries.
Gërvalla thanked Secretary-General Albudaiwi for what she described as a friendly and constructive meeting, expressing optimism about next steps toward building a structured and ongoing dialogue between Kosovo and the GCC.
