The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, has met with her Croatian counterpart, Gordan Grlić-Radman.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that they have discussed “strengthening cooperation in the Euro-Atlantic integration processes of Kosovo, joint regional initiatives, cooperation in security, defense and trade exchanges”.
She told him that the process of joining the Council of Europe should be finalized as soon as possible.
“At the bilateral meeting held at the Dubrovnik Forum, Minister Gërvalla expressed her gratitude to Croatia for the great support it has given to the Republic of Kosovo in the process of Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe, stating that this process must be finalized as soon as possible with full membership in the Council of Europe.”
In the meeting with the Croatian minister, Gërvalla also spoke about “Serbia’s destabilizing actions in the region and the need to increase cooperation between the pro-Western states of the Western Balkans in maintaining peace and stability”.
