Foreign Minister Donika Gërvalla is on a visit to the United States.
She met with the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, James O’Brien, with whom she discussed current developments in the country as well as efforts to counter security threats.
As part of the official visit to the United States of America, I was received in a meeting by the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, James O’Brien.
In the spirit of the special relationship between the two countries, many aspects of deepening bilateral cooperation, strengthening the rule of law and democracy, and realizing the aspirations for the Republic of Kosovo’s membership in international organizations were addressed during the meeting.
We also discussed other current developments in the country, emphasizing the commitment of institutions to maintaining peace and stability in the country and the region, as well as countering security threats.
