Arbërie Veliu-Maqedonci, the wife of Vetëvendosje (LVV) MP Ejup Maqedonci, expressed support for MP Shqipe Selimi-Mehmeti, who yesterday did not vote for Donika Gërvalla as Speaker during the constitutive session.
Veliu-Maqedonci applauded Selimi-Mehmeti’s decision in a comment on her Facebook post.
In the same post, the LVV MP clarified that the reason for not voting for Gërvalla is related to her statements against Shqipe’s husband, Rexhep Selimi.
“Respect, Shqipe,” wrote Arbërie Veliu-Maqedonci, accompanied by clapping emojis.
Like her husband, Arbërie Veliu-Maqedonci was also part of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK) during the liberation struggle.
