Glauk Konjufca, the Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, cast his vote today in the parliamentary elections at the Faculty of Economics in Prishtina.

In his statement, Konjufca emphasized the importance of today’s elections for the democracy of the state and urged citizens to exercise their right to vote. He noted that the key aspect today is ensuring that the elections are free and fair.

With a total of 941 polling stations available for voters, Kosovo’s electoral process offers a wide reach, including 903 regular voting centers with 2,533 voting booths, and 38 special voting centers with 56 booths for citizens with specific voting conditions.

For the first time in Kosovo’s electoral history, voters can choose up to ten candidates for the legislature, unlike previous elections where the limit was five.

The elections are being monitored by over 100 European Union observers.
