U.S. President Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, have already departed from Washington aboard Air Force One, heading to the Italian capital. Joining them will be former U.S. President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill. Alongside them, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Prince William will also be attending the ceremony. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has also confirmed his attendance.
The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, will lead Kosovo’s official delegation, with confirmation from her media advisor, Bekim Kupina. Osmani’s presence in Rome underscores the importance of this momentous occasion for global leaders to unite in tribute to Pope Francis.
The Vatican media will provide live broadcasts of the event in 15 languages, including sign language in four of them, to ensure that as many people as possible can follow the proceedings.
