In today’s government meeting, the draft law on mandatory health insurance was approved.
Health Minister Arben Vitia described it as the most important reform in the healthcare system.
“The draft law on mandatory health insurance is approved by the Government. One of the most important reforms for our healthcare system. Despite delays following the decision of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo due only to procedural reasons, today it resumes its path toward full approval,” Vitia wrote in a statement.
