Kosovo’s caretaker government has expressed its readiness to assist the United Kingdom if asked to accommodate migrants whose asylum claims have been rejected, reports Rks News.
Government spokesperson Përparim Kryeziu told Radio Free Europe that Kosovo is open to discussing the matter with the British government.
“We are willing to help the United Kingdom, our friend, partner, and ally, as well as its Labour government,” Kryeziu stated.
He emphasized that any final decision would be made only after a comprehensive institutional process and thorough evaluations.
“Many questions will need to be answered in advance,” he added, leaving the door open for further discussions on this sensitive issue.
