The Ministry for Labor, Family, and Values of the Liberation War has received a €47 million loan from the World Bank to finance the Social Assistance System Reform Project in Kosovo.

According to official documents, the project aims to improve the social assistance system, including more accurate identification of families in need and integrating beneficiaries into the labor market.

As part of this loan, the ministry has opened procedures to hire 15 employment advisors who will work at the Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo, with the goal of strengthening capacities to implement the pilot program for activating social assistance beneficiaries.

The positions are expected to be distributed across several municipalities in Kosovo, including Artana, Graçanica, Istog, Rahovec, Skenderaj, Vushtrri, and others.

Advisors will guide the unemployed toward the labor market, provide employment counseling, and cooperate with businesses to identify available job openings.

Their contracts are expected to last until the end of 2026, with the possibility of extension, and the gross monthly salary is set at €561.

The project is funded by the International Development Association (IDA) as part of the country’s social assistance system reform.
