New details have emerged following the tragic school massacre in Graz, Austria, where at least 11 people were killed before the 21-year-old perpetrator committed suicide. Austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung reports that police discovered a suicide note at the gunman’s home in the Graz area.

While authorities have not disclosed the note’s contents, the Austrian Ministry of Interior confirmed its seizure without providing further details. According to Kronen Zeitung, the note suggests the attacker felt bullied, which could be the motive behind the tragedy. Investigations are ongoing to confirm this lead. Kleine Zeitung clarifies that it has not yet been definitively confirmed if bullying is explicitly mentioned in the letter.

The perpetrator was a former student at the same school where the attack occurred but had not completed his studies there.

Police also revealed that one of the two weapons used, a “Glock” pistol, was legally purchased just days before the attack, while the other was a rifle.

In this tragic act, ten people died at the scene, and one more succumbed to injuries in the hospital, with dozens of others wounded. Among the victims is a young woman of Kosovar origin.
