On Tuesday, January 28, in the Brussels Criminal Court, the guilt of the two suspects in the murder of activist Enver Hadri was confirmed.

This was announced by the Hadri family. The jury confirmed the guilt after several hearings, where evidence was presented regarding the responsibility of the perpetrators, Veselin Vukotić and Andrija Drashković. Along with Božidar Spasić, they were sentenced to life imprisonment in 2016 but had appealed the decision.

Božidar Spasić did not appeal, meaning his life sentence remains in effect. However, he, along with the other two murderers, is not in the custody of Belgian authorities because Serbia has not extradited them, as reported by Koha.

This trial, like the one concluded in 2016, is ongoing in absentia because Serbia has not extradited the accused to Belgium.

The case file for Enver Hadri in the Belgian court contains evidence spanning more than 3,000 pages.

The 12-member jury formed for this trial has determined that the suspects are guilty, and the sentence will now be decided.
