Ambassadors from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait, have met with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). They convened to express growing concerns regarding nuclear safety in the region.

According to The New York Times, GCC diplomats raised the alarm about the dangers posed by repeated Israeli attacks on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. They warned that any incident at these facilities could have severe consequences for their own countries.

Israel justifies its campaign against Iranian nuclear facilities as an effort to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon. However, Tehran insists its program is for peaceful purposes only.
