After Isni Kilaj, Bashkim Smakaj, and Fadil Fazliu, Gazeta Express learns that, under the order of the Special Prosecutor, the house of former Minister of Justice, Hajredin Kuçi, has been raided. There are also reports that he may have been arrested.

He is also suspected of criminal acts related to the administration of justice.

The Office of the Special Prosecutor had earlier confirmed today’s operation, stating that the actions are part of investigations into criminal offenses against the administration of justice.

A statement released by the Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO) mentioned that the operations have been authorized by the Specialized Chambers of Kosovo and are supported by EULEX.

“The Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO) is continuously conducting operations in Kosovo as part of an ongoing investigation into criminal offenses related to the administration of justice. The SPO’s operations have been judicially authorized by the Specialized Chambers of Kosovo (DHSK) and are supported by the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX),” the statement said.

The arrest of Kilaj has been confirmed to Gazeta Express by his son, Blendi.

“At around 07:00 AM today, my father was arrested. We don’t have any information on why the arrest happened again,” he said.

Express has learned about the arrest of Smakaj from sources.

Meanwhile, the arrest of Fadil Fazliu was mentioned by Faton Klinaku, the acting Chairman of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) Veterans Organization.
