The candidate of Lëvizja Vetëvendosje for Mayor of Prishtina, Hajrullah Çeku, cast his vote today at the polling station located in the Faculty of Philology in Prishtina.
After voting, Çeku addressed the media, expressing his hopes for a positive outcome for the capital and the citizens it represents.
“After a long process, today we are concluding this cycle of local elections with our vote — a duty and a commitment to exercise our right over the city,” Çeku said. “I hope that everything goes smoothly until the end of the day, and that this will be a good day for democracy, for our country, and for our capital.”
He further added:
“I wish that from tomorrow onward we enter four prosperous years — good years for all citizens of the capital. I invite everyone to exercise their right to vote, to strengthen democracy, and to ensure good governance.”
