The candidate for Prime Minister from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Bedri Hamza, expressed disappointment with the result of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) regarding the diaspora votes.
In an interview on the “Rubikon” show, Hamza emphasized that expectations for support from the diaspora were higher, but added, “It turns out that something here didn’t work.”
“We had expectations based on the fact that we would receive more votes from the diaspora. In the meetings I attended, surely more than 7,000 people participated, and it turns out that something here didn’t work. Whether the structures didn’t function, or if there was an issue with logistics… remains to be seen.”
When asked if he suspected any misuse of diaspora votes, Hamza responded…
“I know these elections were organized on the electoral list. But I am convinced that Kosovo, with more tranquility and interest in the country and the protection of votes, should have a proper electoral law.”
