The PDK’s candidate for Prime Minister, Bedri Hamza, proudly commemorated the anniversary of the “UÇK Epic.”
While honoring the heroism and sacrifice of the legendary commander Adem Jashari and his family, Hamza stated that the Jasharis did not only defend the threshold of their home.
He emphasized that this legendary family defended the dignity of all Albanians.
“From today, with pride, we remember the days of glory and national pride, the days of heroism and great sacrifice of Commander Adem Jashari and his family. The Jasharis did not only defend their doorstep, but they defended the dignity of the Albanians. Their commitment to freedom was a constant call for resistance. A call to rise against injustices and to protect our homeland. They answered this call not with words, but with their lives!” he wrote on his Facebook profile.
According to him, the KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army) is a value that should speak to every generation.
“By working with honor, integrity, and dignity for a better Kosovo, we also honor those who fell for our freedom and independence. Today and forever, the KLA is a value that should speak to every generation! Honor and glory to Commander Adem Jashari and the Jashari family!” Hamza wrote.
